Ejaz has been in the corporate world for over ten years after completing his Masters in Commerce, MBA in Finance and Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and Relationship Management. Seeing the plight of children on the streets of Kolkata he was compelled to make a difference in their lives. Worried about how vulnerable these kids were to exploitation, he started educating and creating awareness among these children on various behavior and life skill topics during his leisure time. Driven by the extraordinary passion, from a very young age, he gave free tuitions to the children belonging to the weaker sections of the society, motivated them to learn and thrive, and financially supported their families, in his own capacity. He believes that Social media and good intentions can come together and help save many lives and hence he created a WhatsApp group. In this group, he added youngsters who were willing to donate blood. Today, his WhatsApp group has over 200 members and has helped close to 50 people in getting blood on time. He is firmly convinced that each of us can, in our own small way, bring a difference by being the agents of change. He plans, organizes and conducts awareness and training programmes, and represents BHOR at relevant platforms in the city and region. His diverse interests and holistic experience makes him a great asset to BHOR.
