Project Yuvaan

The basic needs of human beings are food, shelter, and clothing. Crores of people are living far below the poverty line, lacking basic necessities. We see many old parents abandoned by their own children, struggling for food and clothes. Many spend nights on the foot paths and railway platforms barely having anything to cover themselves with from the cold or rain. Alleviating their suffering is our basic responsibility as human beings. Many poor people, whose life is a daily struggle, cannot afford even these basic amenities. BHOR is working on providing these essentials to the needy by donating and distributing clothes, blankets, foods and other essentials.

Project Give A Smile

'Give a Smile' is a programme that fulfills small wishes of underprivileged people. The wishes of these people are not luxuries but necessities. They wear their widest and brightest smiles when they get their wishes fulfilled.

How

• BHOR volunteers help the underprivileged write their wishes on wish cards, and collect them
• Following which BHOR informs about these wishes to the donors willing to fulfill those wishes
• Once the donors make contributions, BHOR collects/buys the gifts and gives it to the underprivileged
• The donors if interested can also join the volunteers in distributing those gifts
